Co-Creating Community: Celebrating the Arts of Compassion
Please join us for our first in-person community gathering since the pandemic began! We’ll be gathering at Tibet House US for a celebration of the creative power of our contemplative community to help spark healing and transformation for each other, for the larger society we live in, and for the earth we share with all life. The focus of the evening will be honoring the vibrant creativity that has emerged at the confluence of the arts of our timeless contemplative traditions with contemporary poetry, music, and the visual arts.
We’ll start the evening off with an open reception—where you can reconnect with old friends and new, over light refreshments. Then after a brief introduction to the sublime aesthetics of embodied transformation in the Tantras, we’ll savor the work of some of our community’s many creative spirits—writers, visual artists, and musicians and a Tibetan chant blessing. Come join us as we experience the magic of embodying compassion and taste the elixir of the contemplative arts.
