Friday Lunchtime Meditation
Fridays with Rachel Hammerman
Take a mid-day pause to refresh your mind and re-establish your center in the midst of bustling city life. Meditation is a powerful tool to eliminate stress, to heal the body, mind, and brain, and to enhance your personal well-being and positive relationship with the world. Join Nalanda Institute faculty as they lead Monday through Friday lunchtime meditation sessions at Tibet House.
Faculty and Schedule through December:
Mondays from 1:00–1:45: Contemplative Practice as Social Practice (social justice) with
Tuesday through Friday from 1:00–1:45 with
Kristen McKee (Tuesdays, except October 23 and December 18 with Marianne Gunther; October 30 with Susanna Nicholson. No session on October 16 and December 25)
Abby Eletz (Wednesdays, except October 24 with Marianne Gunther)
Mary Reilly Nichols (Thursdays, except November 1 and 22 — no session)
Rachel Hammerman (Fridays, except October 12 with Nina Herzog; and November 2 and December 7, 14 with Aaron Edison. No session November 23 )
Fee: $10 suggested donation
