Contemplative Practice for Everyday Life
Sustainable Happiness Program: Daylong retreat with Dr. Miles Neale and guest teachers Dr. Emily Wolf and Nina Rao
Yoga and meditation have exploded in our culture, but remain largely secular versions of stripped down techniques removed from their original Indian and Tibetan contemplative psychologies. In this daylong, experiential workshop we’ll review and practice the major skills that comprise our foundational toolkit for self-mastery within its classic context. The morning session features an artfully curated sequence of silent, led yoga postures, breathwork, chanting, mindfulness, self-analysis, and loving-kindness. The afternoon session features a discussion of the Indo-Tibetan psychology underpinning our toolkit and how together map and skills can empower you to master your own mind and body for self-healing, liberating insight and life-change.
