Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science
The next buddha may take the form of a community, a community practicing understanding and loving-kindness, a community practicing mindful living.
— Thich Nhat Hanh
From our vantage point, these words from the venerable Thich Nhat Hanh ring true. Each day we see so many in our beloved community coming together in heartfelt sincerity to liberate themselves and be of benefit to the world.
Co-Creating Community is an ongoing work of art — each one of you adding your own light that forms the constellation of Nalanda Institute. Your intentions, efforts, experience and questions give life to our programs and we are thankful for what you offer. As we emerge into the new normal of post-pandemic life it’s important that we work together with intention to continue the act of creating community.
This year, like every year, we turn to our community and ask that you support our mission of personal and collective liberation through a gift of dana as part of our year-end fundraiser.
We set ourselves a goal of raising $100,000 so that we can continue offering free courses and generous scholarships; and to invest in program research and the technology infrastructure needed to grow online programming.
